Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a man  was assaulted in the Exmouth Indoor Market area of town.

The incident, in which a man sustained head injuries , happened at approximately 16:25 on 15TH April 2024 along Manchester Street to the rear of the market.

The victim was viciously punched to the head by a gang of youths and knocked to the ground. The injuries required hospital treatment and he was kept in overnight.
