Hello from Head of Neighbourhood Watch, Peterborough

Hello

I know you are a registered member of the online network e Cops. for Cambridgeshire.

I hope you don't mind me contacting you?

I have been asked to help residents in Century Square at Peterborough, if I can, set up some form of Neighbourhood Watch. The watch scheme comes in different forms depending how residents would like it to work.

The three parts of neighbourhood watch are;-

1. each resident follows crime prevention advice.

2. Residents would help each other out as neighbours if they can.

3. Residents would be encouraged to report their concerns and worries, especially as it relates to crime and anti social behavior.

They would be supplied with free street signs, leaflets and window stickers, if they want them.

They would be part of a large network of neighbourhood watch schemes across the Peterborough area, currently around 280 Watch groups.

Neighbourhood watch across Peterborough is run by an Association, there have been many success stories over the years.

Our aim is to help people create communities where everyone feels safe.

I am contactable by mobile between 10am and 4pm on 0 74 74 002 392 or e mail info@nwpeterborough.co.uk

Do you know of any local Face Book Group where I could also try to communicate with Century Square Residents, please let me know.

You can also reply to this message below.

Please let me know if you would like to trying to take this approach.

Kind regards

Alan Paul
