Hello folks,

This evening myself, SD Dalley and SC Cross joined forces with officers from Heywood fire station and conducted a joint emergency services visit to the youth club at Sandon House in Heywood town centre. We talked to the children about our roles and responsibilities as Police officers and fire fighters, they also got to try on the mini police/fire uniforms and even used the different equipment we use on a daily basis.

It’s safe to say they all loved our visit, and we could have possibly planted the seed for further police officers and fire fighters.
