We have recently received several reports from the Calgary Avenue / Quebec Road area regarding teenagers on electric scooters. The main concerns are towards the child's safety, as they are being ridden on the roads & pavements with little regard to the traffic & pedestrians that are using the roads & pavements.

We are asking parents to please read the attached leaflet as it clearly states although you can buy on of these E-scooters, it cannot be ridden on a UK public road, cycle lane or pavement. The only place an E-scooter can be used is on private land with the land owners permission.

We are sending this message as we are concerned for the safety of the children riding these E-scooters.
