School visit - Capel Primary School

Dear Residents.

Today PCSO Stanley from the Child Centred Policing Team and I visited the Capel Primary School to speak to the year 5's and 6's. We covered a range of topics such as; what the police do, online safety, general safety as well as the transition from primary school to secondary school and other key topics.

The children were given the opportunity to ask questions and get involved as they got to try on some uniform. As your Beat Officer I am keen to not only patrol, investigate and deter crime, but also engage with the people in the communities I police.

I will try to utilise this platform as much as possible to keep you informed of what's going on in your local areas. Please ensure any crime is reported to us via the correct channels. Call 999 in an emergency or if there is a crime in progress. If you wish to contact us with any information or in a non-emergency then please either use Online Reporting or call 101.

Kind regards,

PC Connor Geelan.
