Medway Queen Celebrates Her Centenary

On the 23rd April 2024, the famous paddle steamer Medway Queen (AKA HEROINE OF DUNKIRK) celebrated her centenary.

Currently moored at Gillingham Pire,

The Medway Queen Preservation Society had planned several celebrations. The main celebration was on the 23rd April 2023, where there was a reception for invited guests on board the Medway Queen. There were a lot of dignitaries such as the Lord Lieutenant Lady Colgrain, Lord West of Spithead and Mayor of Medway in attendance to this event.

Kent Police, CSU Medway officers PC Ranaweera, PC Finn & PC James also attended this historic event and had the opportunity to engage with the invitees and general public.

Cheers to another 100 years…
