I am committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. My focus is on proactive neighbourhood policing to protect people from harm, building strong relationships with residents, and addressing the issues that matter most to you. Our priorities include protecting the vulnerable, tackling crime and antisocial behaviour, and strengthening community ties. These are all at the heart of our efforts. I am eager to work collaboratively with you to make our community a safer, more secure place for everyone. Please feel free to reach out with any concerns or suggestions.

 

Highlights for the Week:

 

- Kyle Slaney of Fleckney arrested and charged for three business premises in Fleckney, and Oadby Town centre.

- Julian Lacy of Broughton Astley has been arrested, charged and remanded for ten offences of theft from motor vehicle, weapons, harassment, criminal damage. 

- Harborough and Wigston response officer PC Liv Dutton awarded WIN Police Officer of the year 2024

- Op Alliance vehicle crime week across the whole policing area with crime prevention items given out, various community engagements and speeding checks

- Hate Crime awareness week will commence 12th October with schools visits and various community enagagements planned

- Cannabis Factory located in Walton with over 400 plants recovered

- Impromptu visit from nursery children to see the police cars and officers
