Local Primary School Create Music During Three Day Initiative about Gang and Knife Crime

Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to take this opportunity to praise Year 6 pupils from Co-op Academy Woodlands, for their fantastic creation of their music video ‘Shiny Gold’, which can be viewed at CUT MUSIC - Clear Hold Build / Violence Reduction

PCSO’s Crawford and Kelly attended Co-op Academy Woodlands to support and participate in the inspiring three-day initiative called the CUT Music project—Creating Understanding through Through Music.

This innovative program, led by Music Box - inspiring voices, aimed to educate young people about the dangers of gang involvement and knife crime through the powerful medium of rap music.

The PCSO’s were really impressed with the fantastic engagements and efforts from everyone involved, in creating music to raise awareness of the dangers of gang involvement and knife crime.

A fantastic achievement by all involved.
