This morning, PC Baggott from the Nedge Safer Neighbourhood Team, attended an event which was held at Hollinswood Community Centre. Residents were given a talk by Natwest Bank on scammers and the signs to look out for. Being a victim of a scam can be distressing and the impact can be emotional as well as financial. There are many types of scams including doorstep scams, mail scams, phone scams and many more. If you have been scammed or have any concerns, there are people out there to support you.
