Dear Watch Member, The next women's self-defence class will be held as below - these classes have proved to be extremely popular and useful in the past. It would be much appreciated that if you do book a place and are unable to attend - even if you only know this the day before - that you contact the organisers so that they can release your place for someone else. Day/Date: Friday 6th December 2024Time: 14:00 - 15:30 hoursVenue: CHRIST CHURCH - REDFORD WAY, BELMONT ROAD, UXBRIDGE, UB8 1SZWhat: Personal Safety Awareness session; Basic self defence class (with a male non-police instructor), and local police officers available post class to give attendees the opportunity to raise and discuss any concerns they may have about safety in the local area, and to enable the sharing of crime prevention advice and support.Attendees are also provided with a goody bag containing some crime prevention giveaways - personal safety items (such as a torch, bells etc) and crime prevention advice materials.
