Light up and be seen !

A big thank you to everyone who attended the event held in Heslington this week. North Yorkshire Police held the event with our partners from York cycle campaign to promote safer cycling during the dark nights. High-vis vests and bike lights were handed out to cyclists as well as safety advice to help reduce the risk when out and about. The event was well attended by local residents and students. I would like to thank all the police civilian volunteers and police cadets for their time and effort to make it a success. Stay safe.
