Good morning Resident

I'm pleased to let you know that following my message requesting information from residents like you, officers were deployed to the following locations on the morning of Friday 22nd November:

- Barnet Road, London Colney

- Shenley Lane, London Colney 

- Watford Road, Chiswell Green 

- Mount Pleasant Lane, Bricket Wood. 

194 vehicles were monitored. 4 Traffic Offence Reports were issued to those driving at excessive speeds on these 30mph roads. 

We can't be everywhere, but we can be anywhere! It is important to us to receive meaningful information from the public which directly influence our patrols. 

Many of the responses to my message related to the installation of speed bumps, signage, and better street lighting. Whilst I agree these preventative measures would reduce and/or enforce speeding in our communities, this is not something the Police can influence. Please report these issues to your local Councillors, St Albans City and District Council, and/or Highways.
