Two arrests made and stolen BMW recovered 👇 

On Monday 18th November 2024 at 15:46hrs Cleveland Police made us aware that a car they were pursuing was heading into the North Yorkshire area.

The black BMW, which was using cloned number plates, was discovered by our officers in the Northallerton area, less than an hour later.

They pursued it into nearby Newby Wiske, where a stinger device had been set up to puncture the tyres, bringing the car to a safe stop at 16:50hrs.

The car was found to be a stolen vehicle from Nottinghamshire. 

Two suspects, aged 17 and 18, were arrested at the scene and have since been released on unconditional bail.
