Due to cold nights and mornings, and with our windscreens frozen solid, there is always the temptation to leave our vehicle running unattended to defrost,  while we return to the warmth of our homes. 

The same can be said if we leave our vehicle idle on the street in the evening while, (as it was the case last night) we quickly pop out for any reason.

Please be aware that in most cases, car insurance will not be paid out by your provider, if the vehicle is stolen while unattended and left running.
