Dear Resident,

We’ve arrested an 18-year-old on suspicion of dangerous driving, drink / drug driving, taking a vehicle without consent and driving without insurance. 

The man, from Northfield in Birmingham, was arrested as part of our investigation into a two-car crash that happened on Bristol Road South, at around 1.30am (Saturday 23 November). 

Six people, including the arrested man, were injured in the incident. The road was temporarily closed while paramedics treated the injured, the vehicles were removed and the road cleared of debris.
