This morning PC Keeler, PCSO Doughty and PCSO Stirling carried out an early morning operation from 06:00 hours in the Peopleton area making sure that all vehicles that passed us were roadworthy and legal. This is also part of our Christmas drink driving campaign. Unfortunately one of the vehicles we stopped had no MOT or insurance. This meant that the HGV was seized and impounded. Please make sure that your own vehicles are legal and roadworthy.
If you have any suspicions of any other vehicles in the Peopleton and surrounding area please contact West Mercia Police via our non emergency number 101 or if you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, they never ask your name and they cannot trace your call or I.P address. You can call 0800 555 111 or visit their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org. Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
