🚨 Driver Arrested and Vehicle Seized🚨

An early start yesterday for the team as part of Operation Limit targeting drink and drug drivers. A vehicle tried to evade us whilst driving with no lights on.

The journey soon came to an end for the driver and the reason for him not wanting to stop to speak to officers soon became apparent.

The strong smell of alcohol and the driver's actions led officers to request a roadside breath test. The driver blew 82 at the roadside (legal limit 35) and later blew 77 in custody.

The driver was also not insured to drive the vehicle so was dealt with for no insurance and the vehicle was seized.
