Overnight between 19th December and 20th December, an attempt was made to enter a garage in the village of Airton.  Whilst entry was not gained, a significant amount of damage was caused to the doors, which will be costly to repair.  If you live in the area, please check your outbuildings, and report to us if you have anything to report, even if nothing has been taken.   Please help us help you -  If we don't know about it and it isn't reported, then it hasn't happened and our resources will be utilised elsewhere.   If you saw, heard of have anything recorded on cctv or doorbell type cameras, please get in touch and we can send you a link to record it.

It is a timely reminder at this time of year, it can be very obvious to see who is not at home, please take precautions to protect your property, and make it difficult for thieves.
