Today PCSO Paul spent an hour and a half on the St Saviours Estate due to drug use and vagrancy issues. Some of the behaviour has caused a lot of alarm and distress to residents and we will continue to target this area to reduce these issues and will look to serve community protection warnings and notices which some are already on; some individuals who have breached them will be dealt with. PCSO Paul did a check of the stairwells of St Vincent House and also a weapon sweep of the same location. Patrols carried out of Attilburgh House and Thetford House and whilst at locations engaged with a number of residents. One female drug user was also removed from Thetford House and has been strongly warned that she is likely to be arrested if she keeps coming back. Please call the police at the times when this anti social behaviour is taking place and we will follow up in dealing with any individuals stopped by response team officers with further action such as the warnings spoken about; and follow up with further patrols and deal with them directly ourselves. |
