Driver with no licence, also suspected drug driver

Good afternoon,

Ashford CSU stopped this red Volvo to complete a document check with the driver as it left Ashford town centre towards the motorway at junction 9.  He was found to have no drivers licence whatsoever, not even a provisional, not that it would have made any difference.  This invalidated his motor insurance, and following a roadside DrugWipe test, he tested positive for cocaine and was therefore arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

His car was seized and we now await his blood sample analysis results.  This will give us accurate readings concerning the amount of cocaine in his body and any other drugs, prior to any court proceedings.
