Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At sometime on Tuesday 1 October in Nottingham Road, Selston, a property was entered through an unlocked door and the bedroom was entered and searched. A jewellery box was emptied on the bed and a gold necklace and matching bracelet was stolen. Other items may also have been stolen. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Overnight Thursday 26 to Friday 27 September in Portland Road, Selston the rear window of a silver Toyota Hilux pickup truck was smashed and an impactor and a grinder was stolen. Theft Between midnight and 10.00am on Friday 27 September in New Close, Kirkby in Ashfield, a brand new black three wheeled Veleco ZT63 mobility scooter, parked in a garden, was stolen. It was found, damaged, not far away. Criminal Damage Between 7.00pm and 10.00pm on Monday 30 September in Butterfly Meadows, off Millers Way, Kirkby in Ashfield, a back gate to a property was kicked in. ASB At 7.30pm on Tuesday 24 September in Belmont Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a brick was thrown onto a property hitting a camper van. There has been a recurring problem of items being thrown into the garden and that of a neighbour over a long period of time. At 11.06am on Friday 27 September in Lindley Street, Selston, a male has returned for the third time in the past few days sleeping rough in a passage beside the callers house. At 5.03pm on Friday 27 September in Walesby Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of three off road bikes, one an e-bike, being ridden at high speed. One rider on each bike, two wearing balaclavas. At 3.08pm on Saturday 28 September at Felley priory, Underwood, a report of off road bikes being ridden in Friezeland Woods. At 5.45pm on Sunday 29 September in Old Chapel Lane, Underwood, a report of six males, late teens/early 20’s, racing up and down the park and the skate board area, on electric bikes, causing a young family to leave. At 6.09pm on Sunday 29 September in Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, around twelve, 12 to 15 year old teenagers, some on bikes, refusing to leave the Kirkby Leisure Centre and when outside attempting to get back in. They did leave when they realised the police were being called. At 7.03pm on Sunday 29 September in Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a group of mainly male youngsters 8 to 10 in number were inside The Sunrise Kebab Shop creating problems and throwing water bombs. No damage was caused and they made off towards the Nags Head public house. At 7.38pm on Monday 30 September in Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a group of mainly white male youngsters, 10 to 15 years old, running around in the Kirkby Leisure Centre, causing a general nuisance and opening the fire doors. When challenged they made threats to smash up customers cars in the car park. At 8.19pm on Monday 30 September in Kingsway, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of around five youths, 10 to 15 years old in the toilets of The Regent, throwing toilet paper around and generally misbehaving and upsetting customers. One around 5-1”, skinny build, wearing a black hoody and black jeans. A second 4-08”, age 7/8 years, in black jeans and a puffa jacket. A third in a ski jacket and blacked out glasses. One male was on a bike.
