Secondary School lunchtime drop in session completed at Glossopdale School - Thursday 3rd October

Glossop SNT - School Engagement

PCSO Buller of Glossop SNT Youth Engagement team (YET) attended Glossopdale School , Newshaw Lane, Hadfield, Glossop, this afternoon, Thusday 3rd October.

Our monthly lunch time drop-in sessions have now resumed at our local secondary schools, in Glossop and New Mills areas. Allowing the team an opportunity each month to visit the schools, engaging with pupils and staff, in less formal surroundings.

During the multiple lunch breaks today some of the pupils took the opportunity to complete some Derbyshire Alert Youth Surveys.

We always value their opinions and views.

The survey was as below. ⬇️

🔲   Supplying their age (school year)

🔲  Their location (home address)

🔲  Do you feel safe (yes or no)

🔲  Where are the local areas where you dont feel safe (if any)

🔲  Are there any times when you dont feel safe

🔲  Can you tell us why you dont feel safe

🔲  If you were able to make descisons what would you put in place for young people

🔲  What method of communication is the best way for information to be shared with young people (for the over 13's only).

Thank you once again to the all students who participated in the survey, enagaged with the team and also the head and staff for allowing the visit today.
