Our Crime Prevention Officers have been out and about in Holmfirth today promoting the Safezone and Walk Safe initiatives. 

They visited the following premises and signed them up to Safe Zones and the WalkSafe app -

Magic Rock Tap Brewery
Society Creative Hub
Bluebird Bakery and Coffee Shop
Sid’s Café
Beatties Café
Nowhere Bar 
 

What is a safe zone? 

A “Safe Zone” is somewhere you can go to get help if something happens that makes you feel scared, uneasy or unsafe or are in fear of someone or something.

Safe Zone is a campaign that provides places you can go to for support to contact a friend, family member or the police if you are feeling unsafe.

Safe Zones will be identified with a Safe Zone sticker displayed in the premises window.

A Safe Zone may be a café, a shop a reception area within a business etc.
