This afternoon PC 2300 Thompson and SGT 671 Skelsey have attended a meeting regarding DISC system that is being introduced to Coleshill town centre as part of Warwickshire retail crime initiative. It was great to see many local pub owners from the area attend the meeting and show their enthusiasm for the scheme that is coming into place. We hope that ourselves working along with key partners from the council, licensing and pub licensee managers as we did today will prove to make Coleshill an enjoyable and more importantly a safe place for people to enjoy on weekends. Thank you to The Bell, Birmingham Road for hosting a meeting which we are sure will be beneficial moving forward.

The Warwickshire Retail Crime Initiative Limited, (WRCI), is a county wide Partnership approach to prevent and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in retail and licensed business premises in Warwickshire. The aim is to achieve a safer environment for the whole community in which to live, work and socialise.
