We would like to reassure the public that we are aware of, and are investigating, a series of tool thefts from vans across the district.

Whilst thorough investigations are taking place, officers have been out and about speaking with local communities to offer advice and reassurance to those who have been affected or are experiencing concerns.

We are providing residents with a UV pen, so that tools and valuables can be marked and identified should a theft occur.

The UV pen should be used to mark tools and valuables with your name or company name, postcode, and/or other personal details that will help us identify the tool should a theft occur.
