Arrests made and tickets issued following car cruise – Milton Keynes

Officers in Milton Keynes took action against anti-social and dangerous drivers at a car cruise on Sunday (20/10).

Working in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council, officers made three arrests, one on suspicion of dangerous driving, drug driving and possession of a controlled class B drug and two on suspicion of drug driving.

Officers issued a further nine tickets for vehicle offences.

Six Section 59 warnings were issued to people for vehicles being used in a manner which causes alarm, distress or annoyance. One vehicle was also seized for having no insurance.

The action is part of ongoing work to tackle those choosing to drive in an anti-social or dangerous manner in the city. This includes the ongoing Public Space Protection Order for vehicle related anti-social behaviour which is in place for the whole of Milton Keynes - Car cruising PSPO | Milton Keynes City Council.
