With Bonfire Night just around the corner, North Yorkshire Police are working with partners including the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to help ensure everyone celebrates in a safe and responsible way.

Every year police forces encounter problems with anti-social behaviour, so North Yorkshire Police are urging parents and carers to take an interest in their children’s plans to ensure they’re acting responsibly and not causing issues in the community.

The consequences of anti-social behaviour and criminality can have a long-term impact on a young person’s life, and on those affected by their actions.

On Bonfire Night, PC Woods from the Tadcaster Neighbourhood Policing Team will be working with crews from Tadcaster Fire Station to ensure a safe evening and to deal with any incidents accordingly.
