Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other At 11.38pm on Friday 11 October in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, in an attempted break in a male was bashing on a metal door at the rear of a shop. No entry was gained but the door was damaged. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle At 6.51am on Sunday 27 October in Hedgerow Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a Ford transit van parked on a driveway was entered by forcing the door. A metal detector was stolen but all the tools in the van were left. At 6.30pm on Monday 28 October in Castlewood Grove, Sutton in Ashfield, a Land Rover Sport car was broken into and baby clothes and shoes were stolen from the boot. Between midnight and 7.00am on Tuesday 29 October in Chatsworth Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a black Jaguar X5 car, parked on a driveway, possibly unlocked, was entered and searched. The glove box was emptied out and a cigarette lighter and a large bunch of keys were stolen.. Theft Nothing to report Criminal Damage At 11.32pm on Friday 25 October in Kings Mill Road East, Sutton in Ashfield, two youngsters were throwing rocks from a footbridge over the A38 near Available Car. One hit a car causing damage to the roof. At 3.50am on Saturday 26 October in Hazel Street, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, car windows and a living room window were smashed. At 6.19pm on Sunday 27 October in Elder Street, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, a white male on foot, approx. 38 years old, slim build, smashed the window in a door. He may have been accompanied by a second male. At 10.06pm Tuesday 29 October in York Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a homeless white female, age 31years, wearing a pink bomber coat and black leggings kicked and damaged the back door of a house as she left. ASB At 12.26pm on Sunday 27 October in Cauldwell Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of around six off-road bikes speeding on the road. The bikes had no registration plates, some of the riders were wearing helmets others wore balaclavas. A report at 12.50pm on Tuesday 29 October at The Broad Centre, Station Road, Sutton in Ashfield, that homeless people had set up camp on land behind the Poundland and Matalan Stores. They were leaving used needles, rubbish and excrement around their site. At 4.40pm on Wednesday 30 October in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a group of four or five boys were in danger of breaking the window of Elegant Nails by banging on it. They left in the direction of Sutton lawn.
