Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 30 October 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

At 0.55am on Wednesday 30 October in Bestwood Road, Hucknall, a house was broken into and a large ornament of a lady was stolen from the front window.

Burglary Other

Between sometime on Thursday 17 and noon on Friday 25 October in Bentinck Street, Hucknall, a door was removed from a shed and an untidy search made but nothing was stolen.

Between 8.00pm on Friday 25 and 10.00am on Saturday 26 October in Flying Beadstead Way, Hucknall, a black Raleigh ladies hybrid bike, with white writing on the frame, and a man’s mountain bike were stolen from a garden.

At 6.22am on Saturday 26 October in Airfield Way, Hucknall, two males attempted to break into a garage. Both white, the first 5-10” wearing a black puffer jacket and a dark beanie style hat. The second 5-07”, in a black jacket and black balaclava.

Between 4.30pm on Sunday 27 and 1.30pm on Monday 28 October in St. Marys Way, Hucknall, dust caps were removed and air let out of the tyres on a red Ford EcoSport car. This had also happened on the evening of Monday 11 October.

Theft

Between 2.30pm and 4.15pm on Thursday 24 October in Linby Road, Hucknall, a red/orange Decathlon Rockrider 540 push bike was stolen from outside the Leisure Centre. The securing chain had been cut.

Between sometime on Thursday 24 and 3.35pm on Friday 25 October in Annesley Road, Hucknall, a decoration was stolen from outside a property.

Between 8.30pm and 9.00pm on Friday 25 October in St. Marys Way, Hucknall, a custom built black Vitus Nucleus Mountain Bike with lots of red detail, purple in the middle of the wheels and a red disc on the front and back, was stolen from a front garden.

Between 7.00pm and midnight on Sunday 27 October in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a three foot tall concrete lion was stolen from outside a property. CCTV showed a male with the lion and two other statues getting into a Taxi at 11.10pm.

Criminal Damage

Between 4.30pm on Friday 25 and 7.30am on Sunday 27 October in Carlingford Road, Hucknall the front right tyre on a blue Volvo XC 90 estate was punctured with a screwdriver.

Between 9.00pm on Sunday 27 and 9.00am on Monday 28 October in St. Marys Way, Hucknall, the paintwork of a car was scratched,

ASB

At 5.20pm on Thursday 24 October in Farleys Lane. Hucknall, a report of two white males riding two off-road bikes around the area.

At 4.44pm on Friday 25 October in Central Walk, High Street, Hucknall, a group of 11 to 15 year old males pushed a shopping cart into a shop front and were chased off by the shop owner. No damage was caused.

Broomhill Inn, Broomhill Road, Hucknall, report of youngsters, mainly male, around 12 years old, entering the pub and being abusive to the customers and refusing to leave. This is a regular occurrence.

Between 2.45pm and 3.00pm on Saturday 26 October in Emperors Way, Hucknall, a pumpkin was thrown at a window, three 12 year old males were seen running away towards the Co-op shop.

Around 4.10pm on Saturday 26 October in Lovesey Avenue, Hucknall, a report of four or five 16/17 year old males racing around on motorbikes, all wearing balaclavas and no helmets.

At 4.35pm on Saturday 26 October in Shepherd Street, Hucknall, a report of a large group of off-road motorbikes doing wheelies when riding to and from Merlin Park. All the riders were in tracksuits, no helmets, with either black balaclavas or ski masks. 

At 3.04pm on Sunday 27 October in Titchfield Park, Hucknall, a report of two males on a motorbike riding around the park, both white, teenagers, and wearing black clothing. The rider of the dark coloured bike was wearing a silver/red helmet.

Between 6.50pm and 7.06pm on Monday 28 October in Linby Road, Hucknall, three or four youths were setting off fireworks in a very enclosed space near the plant room at the Hucknall Leisure Centre.

At 8.38pm on Monday 28 October in Windmill Grove, Hucknall, four approximately 17 year old youths were throwing fireworks into gardens.

In the early hours of Tuesday 29 October in Park Road, Hucknall a group of youths were running up and down the road tipping over the bins left out for collection, this included the glass collection bins.
