Officers investigating a reported assault in Borehamwood are appealing for the public’s help after new information has come to light. It was reported that between 10.30pm and 11.30pm on Saturday 27 July, a woman was assaulted by two people in Mops and Brooms pub, Rowley Lane. She sustained GBH level injuries. A 29 year old man from South Mimms was arrested in connection with the incident and bailed while enquiries continued. A woman in her thirties attended a voluntary interview. Following further enquiries, officers have now uncovered that a weapon may have been involved. Officers would like to hear from anyone who has information about the incident. Detective Constable Nicole Whinnett, who is investigating, said: “Although some time has passed since the incident, this new information is significant and I would like to hear from anyone else who might also have information. This includes anyone who may filmed the incident. “If you can help, please email me at Nicole.Whinnett@herts.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/61822/24.” You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org. | ||||
