Fireworks advice

Good Afternoon Medway

Fireworks night is approaching, and I wanted to share some information with you all. I have attached an information poster for your reference. I have also attached a poster for retailers emphasizing that they will not sell fireworks to under 18’s as I am aware that multiple Medway Businesses are signed up to My community voice.

On a separate note, please consider elderly people and people with dogs that live on your street when planning a fireworks party. Perhaps just pop a note through the door to warn them as it can be alarming and cause distress and upset.

If you see anyone misusing fire works or causing a danger to the public, please call it in and let us know so we can act accordingly.

If you believe a shop to be selling fireworks to under 18’s then please report to trading standards so that they can investigate and take actions.

Lastly I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Fireworks night.
