"Wheelie" Good Job - E-Scooter Day Of Action

Hello Resident

Today, the combined efforts of the Neighbourhood Task Force, Child Centred Policing Team and the Beat Team, have lead to the team dealing with 9 riders of E-Scooters.

A section 59 was issued to a 16 year old child, who was found riding an E-Scooter along Beaver Road. This means if he is caught riding an E-Scooter again he will have it seized, and be summonsed to court.

2 Riders were reported for a total of 4 driving offences, with their E-Scooters being seized.

4 Riders had their E-Scooters seized with suitable words of advice being provided.

We remind all, in the lead up to Christmas, E-scooters are illegal to use in public places. If you're thinking of buying one as a gift for Christmas, please think again - we will deal with offences robustly.
