Overnight from 28-29/10/24 there were a number of thefts from vehicles in Meadow Way and Orchid Close. A vehicle was also seized by Police in relation to the thefts.

At around 02:10 on 29/10/24 we received a report of two males trying car doors in Meadow Way and getting into insecure vehicles. Officers attended and located a blue Ford Focus parked up in Meadow Way that had a number of items next to it and inside it. Checks revealed the vehicle was displaying cloned plates and the items were soon linked to residents of Meadow Way. Incident 0048 of 29/10/24 refers.

The vehicle was seized for forensics.

A set of golf clubs was stolen from a grey Mazda in Orchid Close. Incident 133 of 29/10/24 refers.

A set of beautician equipment was stolen from a Nissan Qashqai also in Orchid Close. Incident 548 of 29/10/24 refers.
