Thames Valley Police have received reports of mopeds and scrambler type bikes being ridden in the area around Pigeons Farm Road including the John Mellow playing field and on Greenham Common in a dangerous and anti social manner with children on the back wearing no helmets or protective gear. This is a reminder that riding bikes in undesignated areas including the above locations is not acceptable and dangerous. Thames Valley Police are taking this matter seriously, if anyone sees any activity involving bikes being ridden dangerously please call 999. Alternatively, you can report via 101 or our website. Any further information on this matter would be very grateful. There will be an increase in patrols in the area and any bikes seen will be dealt with accordingly.
