THEFT; Earlier this afternoon, PCSO Chad Carrington and Special Sergeant Kevin Lee were on foot patrol in Rugeley Town Centre when they overheard a transmission on the Storenet radio in relation to a shoplifting that had just taken place nearby. 

Thanks to Cannock Chase Life CCTV operators the offender was picked up, the officers guided in who subsequently detained them. 

Goods to the value of around £200 were recovered as well as a small quantity of drugs which have been seized. 

Offender was dealt with and goods have been returned to the store. Joint working strikes again! 👮👍
