Operation Sceptre - The National Knife Crime Week of action - Running from 11th November until 17th November


Glossop SNT - ‘Operation SCEPTRE’ 

 

As of Monday 11th  November we saw the launch of Operation SCEPTRE.  

 

🔪 Op Sceptre is a national knife crime week of action that will run until Sunday 17 November 2024. 

🔪 Op Sceptre is a national initiative that takes place twice a year - and is co-ordinated by the National Police Chief's Council. 

 

 

🔪 Op Sceptre week is not just about enforcement activity, it is also about education and wider awareness of knife crime. 

 

 

 

✅  This national knife crime campaign is aimed at the reduction of knife-related violence in our communities and includes the education of people about and on the dangers of carrying bladed weapons

 

🚔  The work of officers and staff in Derbyshire to prevent and investigate knife crime will be highlighted during this national week of action.
