Recently in the Droylsden area there has been an increase in Lock Snapping Burglaries. Last week I sent out an email with guidance on how to make your property as safe as possible during the darker nights, but please find attached a leaflet specifically on lock snapping. 

On Thursday 14th November 2024 from approximately 08:00am there will be a Police Crime Prevention stall outside Currys, Unit 17, Snipe Retail Park, Manchester Road, OL7 0DN. Where a limited number of door locks will be available from your local policing team.
