Last week we have had a couple of breaks to outbuildings reported in which power tools have been taken. In both instances the outbuildings were private and not particularly overlooked, with entry being gained by cutting locks or unscrewing hinges.

Please take this opportunity to check the security of any out buildings and consider any additional measures such as lighting, CCTV, door sensors. It's also worthwhile checking that any home insurance you have does cover you for anything you may store and keep in any outbuildings.
