Op Sceptre

A busy start to the week for our Op Sceptre campaign! Yesterday PCSOs Smith and Humphrey and PC Brown attended Woodlands School to chat to years 7 and 8 about knife crime, its dangers and its consequences. Students had a go at our short quiz and most were successful at identifying both facts and myths about knife crime.

Today PCSO Smith, NIO Taylor, Sgt Sharp and PC Brown were joined by our local PPOs for a knife sweep at Allestree Rec. Reassuringly nothing of concern was found! PCSO Smith and NIO Taylor also attended youth club to chat with more young people who asked plenty of good questions and tested our knowledge!
