Officers from the Mansfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team were following up on community intelligence at an address on Scarcliffe Street and located a cannabis grow at the address this afternoon. The electricity had been bypassed making the address unsafe. Western Power attended the address to make the electrics safe and the cannabis grow was dismantled. There were no persons located at the address but enquiries are ongoing. 

Drug dealing remains one of the local priorities on the area and this is the second cannabis grow the team have located in the last few days (with the other one being on Bolsover Street and resulting in an arrest of the person located at the address).
