A snapshot of our working week from the City Centre beat... 

🛒 In line with our priority of effectively tackling retail crime the team have had 8 positive outcomes for shop theft and over £1000 worth of stock returned to stores. 

🔪 We have conducted multiple engagements as part of Op Sceptre tackling knife crime and starting the conversation. This has included a test purchase deployment with trading standards, a multi-agency stand with youth workers and visits to those who have previously been involved in knife crime. 

❤️ We have been privileged to join in many events being held across the city for remembrance day. 

👮🏻 PC Karl has applied for another criminal behaviour order to tackle persistent offending and anti-social behaviour. 

🚫 Multiple stores have been visited by our PCSO’s to discuss their process for challenging ID and the sale of age restricted items. 

📑 Following reports of persistent anti-social behaviour from businesses near to the Market Place a Joint Action Group referral has been submitted to allow police and partners to develop a combined resolution.
