Long Eaton Chestnut Fair

As many of you are aware, Chestnut Fair is due to open on Thursday 21st November to Saturday 23rd November.

There will be many road closures to allow this event to run smoothly and I have listed those below:

Market Place - in its entirety

Union Street - from its junction with Waverly Street to Market Place

High Street - from its junction with the Market Place to its junction with Brown's Road

Claye Street - from its junction with the High Street to the southern boundary of 69 High Street, giving access to the rear of the shops

New Street - from its junction with High Street to its junction with Cross Street

In addition to the siting of fair attractions, the public car park on Union Street and Beaconsfield car park will be closed to public use for the setting up and duration of the Chestnut Fair.

The road closures will begin on Monday 18th and will reopen on Sunday 24th November so if you need to get to work/school or an appointment, please leave yourself plenty of time to find an alternative route.
