Operation Sceptre

Littleover's Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to support our fellow Officers and staff in Derbyshire this week  as we maintain high visibility patrols and engagements designed to tackle local knife crime.

Operation Sceptre is an annual campaign that raises public awareness to the dangers of carrying a knife in public and provides an opportunity for educational policing as well as enforcement.

During this time we will be offering members of the public the opportunity to hand in any unwanted knives and help us to remove potential weapons from the streets.

So please, if you do wish to discard these items safely then visit any of our advertised events and utilise our knife amnesty bins.
