We contacted you a few weeks ago regarding an increase in car crime, particularly the theft of Ford Fiestas. We advised people to invest in additional security for these vehicles. Unfortunately the criminals are still active in the area, with an attempt being made to steal a 17 Plate Ford Fiesta from Grasscroft at 02:30hrs on the 12th November. Thankfully the owners have always used a steering lock which prevented the theft.  A white transit style van is believed to be involved in the thefts.

We have also had two motorcycles stolen and several other attempts to steal motorcycles.

CCTV has been collected and investigations are ongoing.
