We have had reports recently, that there has been a suspicious male, knocking on doors, in the Blackrod area, stating that he is from Scottish Gas (They had no representative in the area on that date and time).

He is trying to obtain personal information, and is taking photographs of any property ie, bikes etc outside the address he is knocking on.

Male is described as, male , mid 20's, dual ethnicity, slim build, afro hair, wearing casual clothing.

Can we advise any cold callers, should be asked for ID, and if you are unsure, then please do not disclose and personal information, or let them into your home.
