Op Galileo patrols

Whilst on patrol on Saturday 16th November 2024 in the Thornholme area, 4 males were witnessed by our Rural Task Force officers hare coursing. 

With assistance from our colleagues from Driffield patrol team and a volunteer special sergeant, all 4 males were detained and reported for offences. Their car was also seized. 

This type of activity is still ongoing in our rural areas and we encourage anyone witnessing these type if incidents to contact us and report it as soon as possible. Please quote ‘Op Galileo’ when reporting it to our control room.
