ASB Awareness Week

Hi everyone,

This week is Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week, and we're focusing on tackling ASB in our community. As your local neighbourhood police team, we're here to make sure our streets are safe for everyone.

🚔 What we're doing:

  • Increased patrols in key areas affected by ASB.
  • Working closely with community groups, local businesses, and schools to raise awareness and prevent anti-social behaviour.
  • Offering support to victims of ASB and encouraging residents to report incidents.
  • 📢 How you can help:

  • If you witness any anti-social behaviour, please report it to us. Your information helps us target problem areas and take action.
  • Speak to us! We're here to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you have.
  • Let’s look out for one another. Keeping our community safe is a team effort.
  • So far today, we have targeted two addresses where there has been a significant amount of ASB and disruption to the neighbourhood. The first property has been issued with a closure notice, and a full closure hearing is due to be heard in court. At the second property, concerns have been raised due to ASB and various individuals staying there who are not the tenants. As a result, various people were removed from the address, and the locks were changed.

Together, we can make a difference! If you see something, say something. Your report can make our neighbourhood a better place for all.
