Dear Resident It looks like the overnight temperatures this week will dip below freezing, which means you may have to allow extra time to defrost your vehicle. Every winter, cars are stolen from driveways across Walsall. Thieves are looking for unattended vehicles with keys in the ignition. Please stay with your vehicle whilst your windscreen defrosts. Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath over the last couple of weeks. Crimes & Crime Prevention There have been a number of vehicle related crimes taking place over the last couple of weeks, whilst these crimes will be investigated, we would like to remind residents of the prevention measure they can take to reduce this happening to you. Visit our crime prevention website where you will find a wealth of information and advice to help protect your vehicle.
You can also find information related to a number of other crime types to help keep you, your loved ones and your property safe, visit: https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ A big thank you Stroud Avenue and Scholars Heath Street Watch Schemes who continue with their community efforts to keep Willenhall safe. We managed to join both patrols last week and would like to say thank you to everyone who came out on patrol. If you are interested in getting involved in Street Watch please email: streetwatch@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk This week. This week is ASB Awareness Week which runs from 18 to 24 November.
