Hi Resident,
Are you interested in social impact?Do you want to make a positive difference on issues like safety and climate change in your local area?If that's a yes, join Bristol's new Youth Community Action Group Project!Powered by Neighbourhood Watch Network and Groundwork South - Communities Prepared, the project is all about empowering young people to actively address personal safety, crime prevention, and community resilience (e.g. emergency preparedness, climate change). We know that young people's opinions on these issues often go unheard. We believe it's time for young voices to be included, heard, and valued in community decision-making Bristol-wide!
What does the project involve? We’re looking for enthusiastic 16–24-year-olds from diverse backgrounds to drive change and help make Bristol a safer, resilient, better place to live for young people.
To join the Youth Community Action Group Project, we need you to: 1️⃣ Attend up to 8 project sessions (mix of in-person and online) over approx. 3 months 2️⃣ Be open to sharing your concerns and problem-solving ideas about crime, safety, and community resilience issues in Bristol 3️⃣Work as a team to pilot a community action initiative of your choice 4️⃣ Engage in feedback activities so we can make this project the best it can be for you
