Theft from motor vehicles- Mickleover

Officers from Mickleover Safer Neighbourhood team are currently investigating a series of theft from vehicles in Mickleover.

On 13th November 2024 we received reports of an unknown person entering vehicles on Kings Drive and Jackson Avenue and taking several items. These are active investigations and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious, or have CCTV, in particular around 02:49. Officers from the team have conducted house to house and CCTV enquiries in the area.

We are also aware of several social media posts suggesting that there may be further victims of this type of offence who haven't come forward as yet, and we are urging anyone who thinks they may have had their vehicle entered, or attempted to be entered in recent days to contact us via 101, or through the online system below:

Many thanks,

Sam
